Heather Byrd
Hello, my name is Heather Byrd. I grew up in Quincy, Illinois until the age of nine when my family then moved to Fowler, Illinois. There, is where I graduated high school and set on to pursue getting my license for cosmetology. From a very young age I knew that everything about hair was my passion. I received my cosmetology license in March of 2006 at Creative Image Academy of Design in Hannibal, Missouri. I have been a licensed professional cosmetologist for 19 years. I believe there is more to hair than making people look pretty while they are in my chair; educating my clients on proper styling techniques, products, home care and environmental factors to the hair is key to achieving optimal hair and skin health as well as keeping your hair and skin in its best condition to keep the look that you desire. I just opened my own salon in July of 2022 where my focus is about the health of your hair and skin, Look Hair and Skin Wellness. I love to help people and make them feel great about their overall Look.
Lily Duesterhaus
Hello! My name is Lily Duesterhaus, I am a Quincy native, graduating from Unity high school after moving to Ursa when I was 15. I loved the small town life! Very shortly after graduating, I moved to Columbia MO, where I earned my esthetics license at Paul Mitchell. I am now 21 and have been working as an esthetician for almost 3 years now. I love learning and bettering myself so I can continue to help others learn the best ways to take care of their skin, to keep it healthy, youthful, and feeling good! I recently joined Heather's team at Look Hair and Skin Wellness, where I will continue to grow as an esthetician and strive to be better each and every day. I love meeting new people and guiding them in their journey to healthy skin as well as providing a relaxing environment where people can truly unwind and let go! I also specialize in full body hair removal, brow tinting and staining, lash lifting, tinting, and facial waxing.
