Hello, my name is Heather Byrd. I grew up in Quincy, Illinois until the age of nine when my family then moved to Fowler, Illinois. There, is where I graduated high school and set on to pursue getting my license for cosmetology. From a very young age I knew that everything about hair was my passion. I received my cosmetology license in March of 2006 at Creative Image Academy of Design in Hannibal, Missouri. I have been a licensed professional cosmetologist for 19 years. I believe there is more to hair than making people look pretty while they are in my chair; educating my clients on proper styling techniques, products, home care and environmental factors to the hair is key to achieving optimal hair and skin health as well as keeping your hair and skin in its best condition to keep the look that you desire. I just opened my own salon in July of 2022 where my focus is about the health of your hair and skin, Look Wellness Studio. I love to help people and make them feel great about their overall Look.
